Devoted Scouter Dave Burke, of Cameron passed away March 30, 2022. An avid outdoorsman, Dave shared his wealth of knowledge in backpacking, camping, canoeing, shooting sports, and Leave No Trace with others, every opportunity that he had. Dave was a staple at Camp Phillips work weekends, Order of the Arrow events, Wood Badge, and countless other council events. He will be remembered for his wittiness and for being a humble, caring, and kind mentor to many. His legacy will live on through the untold number of Scouts and Scouters that he has impacted.
Celebration of Life for Dave Burke will be held on Saturday, April 30th. Scouters are encouraged to wear a Field Uniform.
