The Chippewa Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America thanks the family and friends of Stacy A. Lybert for their generous gift to the L.E. Phillips Scout Reservation in Stacy’s memory.
Stacy Alan Lybert, 45, passed away on April 27, 2021. Stacy was born in Ladysmith and graduated from Ladysmith High School in the Class of 1994. Stacy loved Cub Scouts, thrived in Scouting, and ultimately achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Camping and canoeing were favorite pastimes he carried into his adult years. Stacy enjoyed many happy summer seasons at Camp Phillips.
Following high school, Stacy entered Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. Degree in Physics in 1999. In 2002, he moved on to JT4, LLC of Las Vegas, Nevada. As an Engineer III with JT4 Stacy was trusted with solving the most complex mathematical problems, and he delivered every time.
In lieu of flowers, Stacy’s family requested that memorial donations be directed to Camp Phillips. In recognition of this generous tribute, an area at the Cub World Obstacle Course will be improved and named in honor of Stacy Lybert’s memory.
