Exploring is partnering with Chippewa Falls High School as well as local restoration professionals to complete a car restoration of a ‘67 Mustang Coupe. Students will start with introduction to safety and tools, then move to welding, metalwork, automotive maintenance, engine rebuild, paint, and interior. Students will work alongside professionals to rebuild this car!
This is an ongoing project, so students who are interested in metal work and welding are encouraged to apply as spots are first come first serve and we will only be taking 8 students! Students can then stay on for the entire rebuild of the car and start again when the next 6 sessions happen, or they can stay only for the first sessions, we are flexible and want the students to get the most out of this opportunity!
Other students will also have an opportunity to register and learn about salesmanship, public speaking, radio, communication, and more in the promotion and eventual sale of the restored Mustang.
