On January 29th - 30th the Otyokwa Lodge will be attending the Section C-1B Winter Council of Chiefs at the Kalahari! 

WCOC will give our lodge the opportunity to interact with lodges from throughout the section and learn about their operations allowing us to find the keys to success for our own lodge.  We will also get the exclusive opportunity to spend quality time with these Arrowmen from other lodges in our section and develop true fellowship with our fellow Arrowmen at the world’s largest indoor waterpark at the Kalahari!  

In addition, at WCOC our lodge gets to help plan out the 2022 Section C-1B Conclave with things such as helping decide the activities offered and the training we want!

When: January 29th -30th, 2022

Travel Plans: 

We will car pool from the Scout Office at 7:00am on Saturday, January 29th and return to the Scout Office about 10:30am on Sunday, January 30th.

What to Plan For:

Saturday morning the WCOC will begin at 10:00am and the meeting will end no later than 4:00pm.  Dinner will be provided and then participants will have access to the water park until it closes.  We will stay the night at the resorts and will stop for breakfast as we travel back to Scout Office on Sunday morning.  

Cost:

The cost of the event will be $40 and will cover everything except breakfast on the way back home (travel, lodging, meeting, water park, Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner).  There is financial assistance available please reach out to the lodge adviser, Brad Gary (bgaryx020@gmail.com) for more information.

What to Pack:

In your packing be sure to include your medical forms parts A & B, field uniform, a pen for note taking, swimming suite, and money (for our breakfast stop and for trading post).
