Bob McCoy began his career in 1975 at Iowa State University in their Extension program with youth. Over the next 19 years, Bob served Chambers in Iowa and Minnesota before making his move to EauClaire.
Bob served as the President & CEO of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce for 23 years before retiring in June of 2017.
Under Bob’s 23 years of leadership, the Eau Claire Chamber grew from 600 members to 1230 members. The ECC became a Five Star Chamber and established a Chamber gift certificate program. This gift certificate program sold around $500,000 annually. The two projects he is most proud of, under his leadership at the Eau Claire Chamber, are the Highway 53 Bypass and the Pablo Center.
Bob is proud to be one of 700 Certified Chamber of Commerce Executives. He has served on the Board of ACCE as well as the US Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100. Bob proudly served for two years as Council President for the Chippewa Valley Council Boy Scouts. He continues to serve and be an active member on the Board.
LeRoy Butler is a Super Bowl Champion and Green Bay Packers legend who played his entire career with the Green Bay Packers (1990-2001).
Butler was selected by the Packers in the second round of the 1990 draft. He played in 181 regular season games, 14 postseason games, earned a Super Bowl ring after the Packers defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI at the end of the 1996 season, selected All-Pro four times, and was selected to the Pro Bowl four times (1993, 1996, 1997, and 1998). He was named to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and later inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 2007.
During his 12 seasons with the Packers, Butler recorded 953 tackles, 38 interceptions, 553 return yards, 12 fumble recoveries, 3 defensive touchdowns and 20 1/2 sacks. He led or tied for the team lead in interceptions in five different seasons. He was the first defensive back in NFL history to gain entrance in the 20 Sack/20 Interception Club.
