17th Annual Leadership Dinner
Oct 6

Bob McCoy began his career in 1975 at Iowa State University in their Extension program with youth. Over the next 19 years, Bob served Chambers in Iowa and Minnesota before making his move to EauClaire.

Bob served as the President & CEO of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce for 23 years before retiring in June of 2017.

Under Bob’s 23 years of leadership, the Eau Claire Chamber grew from 600 members to 1230 members. The ECC became a Five Star Chamber and established a Chamber gift certificate program. This gift certificate program sold around $500,000 annually. The two projects he is most proud of, under his leadership at the Eau Claire Chamber, are the Highway 53 Bypass and the Pablo Center.

Bob is proud to be one of 700 Certified Chamber of Commerce Executives. He has served on the Board of ACCE as well as the US Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100. Bob proudly served for two years as Council President for the Chippewa Valley Council Boy Scouts. He continues to serve and be an active member on the Board.
