Day Camp The Cub Scout Day Camp is a program that does not involve overnight camping. Major emphasis in this program is to have FUN and earn achievements and electives along the way. Since this program is a volunteer run program, we rely on parents to help out at the day camps. Day camp is a great way for Scouts to spend the summer in conjunction with Cub Scout and Webelos Resident Camp. One program doesn't replace the other. All programs promote the fun and values in scouting. TigersTigers (boys who have just completed Kindergarten) must be accompanied to day camp by an adult partner. Tigers will have opportunities to begin their experiences in scouting with fun, memorable activities and interaction with other Cubs. Wolves and BearsWolves (boys who have just completed 1st grade) and Bears (boys who have just completed 2nd grade) have opportunities at day camp to participate in activities that give them a wide range of fun experiences and success in their handbook requirements. WebelosCubs who have finished the 3rd grade and are going into the 4th (1st yr. Webelos), and 5th grades are given opportunities to get a great start on and complete many different activity badges while having lots of fun.
